Internet Marketing is getting the right visitor to your web site with the right message.

There are different aspects to Internet Marketing but simply put is to get potential customers to your web site. Many businesses spend a lot of money and time getting the web site up and running only to find it gets no visitors.

Currently the way most people find what they are looking for is by using search engines like Google, Yahoo, or Bing. There is discussion of whether social media like Facebook or Twitter is a more effective method to drive traffic to your web site. Speaking just from experience with our customers, search engines still drive the majority of traffic.

What is SEO?

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) are the techniques used to get your business high on the list of results when someone searches for "best widget manufacturer in NJ" for example. These search results are called "organic" as they are the results based on the search terms. One SEO technique is onsite optimization or changes made to your web site so search engines think the information on your web site is useful to the searcher. Other techniques involve "link building", "directory listing", etc. which are external to your web site. Some SEO firms use questionable tactics (often called "black hat") and the search engines will penalize web sites that they feel they are using these black hat methods. Neighbor Webmaster doesn't use any tactic that could get you delisted from search engines. 

What is PPC?

Pay Per Click (PPC) is the paid listing in the search results. You bid on keywords that you want your listing to show up for in search engine when someone searches on those keywords. Neighbor Webmaster can set up your PPC campaign to make sure that you are hitting the target audience and get the most bang for your advertising buck.

What are Local Listings?

Local Listings show in search engines (commonly accompanied by a map) when you include an area along with your search term. An example of a search that would include local listings would be "pet supplies matawan NJ". The search engine assumes you want to but pet supplies at a store near Matawan, NJ.
